Jack's Story, Golden Retriever Rescue
in Action

Jack, a 2 year old
Golden Retriever entered SEVA GRREAT following horrific living
conditions. He was found at a house fire, chained to a car bumper.
An abandoned car with no food or water was this Golden's home. An
emaciated, 35 pound Jack was taken into care by local authorities.
SEVA GRREAT's Intake Coordinator was contacted. GRREAT agreed to
share Jack's medical expenses for treatment at his location. After
medical care and stabilization, arrangements for Jack's transport to
a SEVA GRREAT veterinarian and foster home were made.
Jack's
journey began with a relay of caring drivers, all volunteers trading
and picking him up at various locations.
He was a gentleman the entire way and was reported to have assisted
driving to Richmond! Jack was welcomed into his foster home. With
his trip behind him, Jack's journey to being adopted into his
forever home was becoming a reality. Jack continued to thrive with
his foster family, gaining weight and fur. His medical needs were
met. He was very curious about the family cat and his
surroundings. Of course Jack loves to play ball! Jack, now a happy
boy was recently adopted into his forever family.
SEVA GRREAT is an
